Not a mission statement, an activity log. Here’s what Sutra Foundation is actually doing in communities across Delhi, on a regular, ongoing basis.

Weekly Food Distribution

Every week, our team distributes food supplies to families facing food insecurity across our partner neighbourhoods, a standing commitment, not a one-off drive.

Old Clothes Collection & Distribution

We collect gently used clothing donations and redistribute them directly to families who need them, keeping usable garments in circulation instead of landfill.

Women’s Empowerment & Skills Training

Ongoing skills training and financial literacy sessions that help women in our communities build independent, sustainable livelihoods.

Sanitary Pad Distribution

Regular distribution of sanitary pads to women and girls who otherwise face barriers to basic menstrual hygiene, paired with awareness sessions.

Sewing Machine Distribution

We provide sewing machines to women completing our skills training, turning a learned skill into an immediate source of household income.

Supporting Blind Students & Community Members

Education supplies, food support, and daily essentials for visually impaired students and adults, so a disability doesn’t become a barrier to learning or dignity.
